Sadly some bosses are immune, but statuses are good against bosses - especially ones that deal damage based on max HP like bleed and poison. If you get sleep + epedemic down and have avoided poison and burn then you've not only won, but you've won with the chance to take as long as you like to fully heal off Orik's regenerate. If you're willing to pay for it you can also put out bleed, blind, and sleep. Poison through the twins weapon and paralyse via Orik comboing the results of the 0-cost card that adds precision strikes to his deck. It can also drop poison and paralyse for free, though in slightly more complicated ways.
